I observed a large triangle shaped object hovering above treetops on a clear night for about 5 minutes or more.
I was driving home from my second shift job as a machinist around 12:00 PM. It is hard to remember the exact date as this happened back in the 90's. About 5 miles from home I was driving up a hill in Millerstown KY when I noticed three lights hovering above tree tops to my left. I could easily tell this was a huge triangle shaped object. This object just hovered. I slowed down to almost a stop and rolled my window down to look out to try to get a better view. I was driving at this point around 2 mph. The object looked as big if not bigger than a football field. I do not remember the colors of the three lights but I could tell the object was either totally black or of a dark color. It totally blocked the stars in the sky. It made no noise.
After about five minutes of viewing the huge object which just hovered it went straight up in a matter of a second and vanished into the night sky. It was later reported two other people had seen an object in the sky o! n this same night within a 15 mile radius of my sighting.
