Summary : Blue ball moving east to west lasting 3 -5 seconds then disappearing. Lit up surrounding area.
At 9.45 pm on July 4, 1997 I was outside with my wife and daughter and her boyfriend. The sky was dark as we shot off fireworks. My wife and I was walking around our trailer getting our dog when suddenly a blueish light lit up the night bright enough to see everything, so bright that I kindof ducked down at frist out of reflex. As I looked up I saw a bright blue ball shape object moving east to west at a very fast speed crossing nearly directly overhead. i could not tell how hgh it was. There was no sund. As I looked at it it seemed to just disappear. It did not travel out of my sight but disappear and the night became dark once more.
