three points of light in the shape of triangle slowly moved across the sky.
starting 20 degrees over the northwest horizon, three points of light in an equilateral triangle. the slowly moved in formation towards the zenith, with stars visible in the middle of the triangle. the three lights were steady, no blinking. after reaching the zenith, they slowly faded out. total duration maybe 5-7 minutes. i was a technician at the williams college astronomical observatory, two other technicians saw the event.
