SUMMARY: Lights whirling in and around trees, Whooshing sound as the craft flew overhead. The approach of 2 1/2' to 3' tall beings.
At about 21:00, while on a camping trip in the Poudre Canyon area, lights were witnessed flying around some trees. Then, later, at about 02:00 more lights appeared, and a large group of lights overhead. This is when the whooshing sound was heard. The two men of the group were retrieving water when this occurred. The two women were witnessing this phenomenon when the guys came back. The lights landed nearby, behind some trees. The smaller balls of lights were "whirling" around the nearby trees.Shortly after 02:00 these small beings approached the camp site. I was extremely terrorized by this. They approached, then backed off, then approached, and backed off. This occurred numerous times. Their approach was from about 300 to 500 feet from us, and were plainly visible to the group.The smaller balls of light, put a "box" or something resembling a box in a tree, aroung 04:00 to 05:00 in the morning.The small being continued to "terrorize" the group until about 06:00 in the morning. When the sun came up, they departed.Although we were terrorized, none of us were actually harmed by these beings.
