It was a triangular craft motionless with flasfing lights, suddenly it flipped over and took off at amazing speed it never made a sound
Our sighting goes back to somewhere between 26 and 28 May 1995, when my companion and I were between Caxi and Luang Prahbang, Laos.
At the time overland access with public transport had stopped at Caxi due to insurgents shooting along the road. But it was possible to ride from there, after nightfall, with truck drivers who were happy to earn extra cash.
Around 3 am when we reached a plateau up in the mountain, the driver stopped for a rest. It was a clear night, we got out and looked up at the stars when we saw a motionless triangular aircraft hovering over our heads, with 3 beaming lights flashing, not very high above us but totally silent.
A minute or 2 later, it flipped, the lights went off and it shot across the sky now with 2 bright steady yellow lights and one red light flashing. What amazes me is that it never made a sound and it disappeared at astonishing speed.

Although I'm a photographer, unfortunately, I don't have a picture. We were travelling at night, my cameras were in my camera bag in the truck and it all happened too fast to get one.
