Disc shaped object darted across the sky in a reverse Z pattern.
I was a tank crewmember on a firing range at Fort McCoy. We were waiting for our next firing session and had our main gun elevated.
The gunner asked the tank commander to look at his thermal sight. They seemed very amazed, so I asked to take a look.
I saw one disc shaped object dart in a reverse 'z' direction. The object looked very bright in the sight, so it must have been very hot.
This happened quite a few years ago, but I recall that the tower had been listening to us and said (after laughing), "I hope you don't want anyone to think you believe in UFO's."
After that comment, we never really talked about what we saw.
