I am not posting an official report. I am curious as to why I never heard any report of this sighting on any media, or from any other person.
I cannot place the date accurately as it was a deer hunting trip with my two sons a good many years ago. My guess would be sometime in November around 1993.
I was returning to camp around 08:00 and noticed what I thought was the sun. But I quickly noticed it was moving horizontal from my right to my left.
I hollered to my one son to turn and look at it. He did see it.
As I said it looked to be the size of the sun, but a dull orange color and took maybe 10 seconds before disappearing behind some trees at the far side of a large clearing in the woods. It appeared to be a good distance away.
I simply would like to know if anyone else saw this object. I can't imagine so many people between us and Seattle area during the morning commute not seeing the same thing we did. But, no report and I never made one myself.
