3 Elongated Diamonds flying in formation over Aurora, CO

When I was in the 8th grade a childhood friend and I were laying on our backs on his deck. It was a clear night and the stars were out. At that time where we lived was the edge of town, so better viewing for stars. We were both looking up and having a conversation when out of nowhere three elongated diamond shaped objects flying in triangle formation came right into view directly above us. The diamonds were completely noticeable breaking our view of the stars. They were very dim and had no lights. They appeared to be copper metallic metal and seemed to have a purplish glow below them.

At the time I thought you could see the cities lights reflecting off their hull. But recently I’ve done more reading about anti-gravity propulsion theory (www.uaptheory.com). The energy field around craft might be background lensing what’s behind the object for cloaking etc. This is an unproved theory of course, but I believe that this is a possible factor given that it was a starry night.

Anyhoo, they were flying at a somewhat low altitude, maybe 100-150’ above us. I’d guess they were each 20-25’ long, at arms length about the size of a 4” object. The craft were gliding steady at about 30-40 mph, and completely silent. They were traveling from the Southeast and headed towards downtown Denver in the Northwest.

I was in the middle of a sentence when I went into complete shock. We both gasped seeing them at about the same time. I said “D.. do you see those?!” We looked at each other and my friend replied “Yes! What are they?!” We both looked up and could no longer find them. We talked about what we saw and both agreed we saw what I described above.

Unfortunately I’ve lost track of this friend. He moved away to a different part of the state and we drifted apart. I’ve searched for him numerous times online and can’t find him.

I’ve thought about this experience all my life. They definitely stood out and were something I had never seen in the sky before. I grew up on military bases and my father was in Avionics so I’d been around a lot of flying aircraft. I used to sit just down the cliff at the end of the runway and watch fighter jets take off above me. They were loud and would rumble the ground below as they passed over. Their engines blazing out of the exhaust and the jet fuel fumes trailing behind. These object had none of those traits.
