Tumbling silver trash can with black lids, flawless.
Sunny winter noon in the south hemisphere, blue sky and great visibility. Me and my neighbor (around 14 at the time walking trough his covered garage on the side of the house. We look left over the 5ft wall and spot in 600 yards away a "trash can" silver object, with two black ends tumbling flawlessly horizontally on the sky, with a speed of maybe 35 mph between some buildings. It should be at an altitude of a 17th floor almost. We gazed the object for around 12 seconds until it vanished through the buldings and that was enough to tell that was no balloon.
Despite the odd shape the object seems very light and in harmony, with some proper timing in the tumbling flying style. My friend brother was an AFA cadet( air force academy in Brazil) at the time and we are really into aircrafts. That was definitely not a conventional way to fly.
24 years later and I still have that clear image in my mind.. Never bother until see the web site of the National UFO Reporting Center .
