I was talking with an acquaintance outside a house on a cold clear night. As we talked, my attention was distracted by an airborn vehicle with a row of white lights across the front. There was no sound at all. It was not a plane, I did not know what I was looking at. I had to stop my conversation and ask what it was. The other person said he saw things like that frequently and that the locals referred to them as space ships. It came in very close and I had the distincet impression that it was aware of us and was beningn. It then zipped away up into the stars at a very fast rate toward a the middle of a triangluar constellation.
