This is my UFO experience in 1985 I work for a potash company out of Carlsbad New Mexico is about a 30 min. to the road that heads to the potash company. You turn left off of the Carlsbad highway the potash company is about mile and a half from the Carlsbad highway as you head up the road you have to climb a small hill as you top the hill it levels off the rest of the way to the potash mine.
As I was working the swing shift 3 PM to 11 PM it was summer time I was riding a motorcycle and when you ride a motorcycle without a helmet you noticed all your surroundings and I ride this road day after day night after night as you turn off the Carlsbad highway on the corner of the road and the highway about 100 yards there's what we call an escape shaft for emergencies use this escape shaft has an elevator shaft that sticks up about 150 feet from the ground. It was 11 PM as I come up out of the ground I took my shower and headed to my motorcycle and started the mile and a half trip to the Carlsbad highway
as I started down the hill I looked over towards the escape shaft and I saw above that escape shaft a bright orange light that I've never seen their Before I pulled my motorcycle over straight across from the escape shaft as I stated the shaft is about 100 yards from the road I stopped and noticed that the bright orange light was about 150 feet above the elevator shaft as I watched for about 45 seconds the bright orange light started moving towards me and as a got above me without making a sound are any kind of noise at all it stopped it was the above me for about 30 seconds as turned off my motorcycle I stared at it then all of a sudden a car topped the hill and started heading down as the lights hit me from the car the bright orange light shot off to the right of me without a sound it took off so fast it left an orange streak and it stopped and then took off straight up without a sound and left another orange streak
I stood there with my mouth wide open the car they came over the hill l never stopped to see what I was looking at they just kept going like they never saw anything and they might not have so I started my motorcycle backup and started my way home
this is the first time I have told anybody about what happened on that night every time I go by that shaft at night I always wonder what would have happen if the car never appeared over that hill I wonder if I would have been abducted and how it would have change my life that is my story of a UFO sighting
