He called to relay the fact that sometime during 1982 or 1983, there was a mass sighting by many residents of the town of North Port, MI.
Many people, he reports, were standing on the beach looking west over Lake Michigan at discs over the water. They were doing "circus acts" in the air. The incident lasted for hours, perhaps as long as five hours.
Thousands of feet of video were taken. The incident was covered in the Traverse City Record Eagle newspaper.
