Was 18 at the time, snuck on golf course to go bass fishing at night on course pond. While approx. 300 yrds from pond, standing in middle of a fairway, noticed a bright white circular object a couple miles over a big turf farm nearby.
Pointed it out to my twin brother and friend also 18 yrs old. As we watched it for just a few seconds, a brilliant blue beam shot down to the ground from the white light lasting about 5 seconds then blue light shot back into the light from the ground upward. It the slowly moved toward us approx. 1000 ft up at 10 to 20 mph.
As it got closer I knew it was not of this earth and took off running with brother and friend close behind. It made no noise whatsoever. Got back to car it was gone.
