It was either late 70's or early 80's we were driving to Kansas City, Mo, on 210 highway headed west from Orrick, MO. We were right at a small airport roughly 3 miles east of Missouri City when we saw about 12 cars pulled off of the road and people looking up. It was me, my mom and I think a couple of my siblings. We got out of the car and looked up to see a triangular shaped craft hovering and there was a small plane circling around it. It had a light at all 3 points. It was maybe 100 feet in the air and was 6 or times the size of the plane flying around it. We watched for about 10 minutes then got in the car and left. Looked grayish in color but it was dark so not easy to tell.
Never said anything to anybody because figured they would call us crazy. Have not talked about it since and no reports were ever seen. The small airport is no longer there.
