In slow traffic we saw a UFO hovering just above the ground in meadow next to I-5.
On April 6, 1977 my husband and I were on our way home from work,driving in slow traffic on I-5 just south of Portland, Oregon. .
Because we were taking the next exit, we were in the right hand lane, and creeping along. I looked to the right and saw a disk shape with lights hovering over a large meadow. I alerted my husband and we watched it slowly rise up and begin to move southward over the trees. We immediately decided to follow it but it suddenly, and I mean SUDDENLY took off and disappeared. We were stunned. We drove home, called the Air Force Reserve Offices in Portland reported it.
