in July of 1976 i was at the Boise Post Office, while facing the front doors i looked of to my right, what i saw a flaming orb (i could see the flame coming of the trailing end) traveling North, about 200 ft above the ground at approximately a football field distance, it was moving slow over the houses and trees and in a straight line until it moved out of sight, it was completely engulfed in flame, if it were an airplane it would have crashed, it moved to slow to be a meteor. the color was a flame orange. i have never reported this sighting.
