About 50 ft. orange saucer with cup on top with no sound when it moved down lake and shot up in the air.
It was about 7:00 pm EDT. Appeared over Lake Menominee, near Baysville, Ontario. I was washing dishes. I turned to look around. Hovering at about my eye level over the lake was an orange something. I dropped everything and went to look out the window to see what it was. No noise at all. I watched. It moved slowly down to the end of the lake then shot up completely out of my sight. Still no sound.
It looked like a cup turned upside down on a saucer. It was not very big. My guess is that it might have been about 50 feet in diameter. There appeared to be 6 lights around the edge of the saucer. They were not flashing and did not appear to be on.
No neighbours saw it. Just me. It is as clear in my memory today as it was when I saw it. Never heard of any other sightings in that area.
