Watched what I thought was a satellite make an abrupt right angle turn and vanish withing 2-3 seconds.
I heard on Coast to Coast on May 2020 a request for UFO sightings even if they are decades old. For the record, this sighting happened in late Spring, 1974.
My husband and I were camping at Inks Lake State Park in Burnett, Texas. We were in separate sleeping bags, and I awoke during the night to find the temperature had dropped, and it was uncomfortably chilly. Having trouble getting back to sleep due to the cold, I took advantage of an amazingly clear night sky with its millions of twinkling stars.
I soon noticed what I thought was a satellite moving ever so slowly across the sky. However, it soon made a very abrupt right angle turn and streaked across the sky and vanished in no more than 2-3 seconds.
