The four of us were have a meditation and spiritual group exchange and as we were each taking turns talking about spiritual matters a craft appeared in the night sky. We were inside the apartment but the living room window was so big you could see much of the sky.
I ran outside an stood on the grass looking up directly at the craft, which was glowing orange,a typical saucer, with a stobe light revolving around the top. The strobe was very bright, and cast a kind or liquid shimmering light. I waved my arms at the craft which appeared to be just below the cumulus clouds, the lowest clouds in the sky. As I was observing the saucer I saw two lights coming towards it from opposite sides, and thinking they might be airplanes, I thought a collision was going to happen. But the two lights seemingly merged,or entered the larger saucer, and the craft hovered there for about 10 more minutes.
Then a large cloud obscured the craft, and I could no longer see it. I would s! ay the saucer was about twice the size of a commercial blimp roughly, and whether the craft was physical or etherean I could not say, because the craft was a steady glowing orange color, and it appeared that the light it emitted was internal,glowing outward. So, I would speculate that perhaps it wasn't a physical craft but of light only.
It had definite defined features, I did'nt see windows, but the strobe revolved at a consistent speed, and it obviously wasn't man made. The two smaller lights that merged with it I presume were probes or some sort. The whole sighting lasted about 15 or 20 minutes.
This sighting happened in the early 1970s and about the time when some of my friends were also claiming to have a number of UFO sightings. Thank you. ((name deleted))
