Multiple colored dome shaped UFO that sparkled.
I believe it was back in 1970 that my brother and some of our neighbors saw a colorful flying object that had multiple colored lights around it and a sparkle effect to it...almost like a sparkler. We could even here the sound coming from it.
It hovering above us and came close to some of the telephone poles. It moved it such a peculiar way, sweeping back and forth in the sky. We reported this to one of my neighbor's parents, but they concluded that it was just a weather balloon.
At that time I was very naive, but to this day I don't believe it could have been a weather balloon. If anyone else has seen this during that time period please let me know.
I heard that someone from Chestnut Ridge, Pa, area had a similar experience.
