Possible abduction in Colorado in 1969
In middle to Late 1969, I was stationed in Aurora CO for tech school shortly after boot camp. I loved exploring the mountains on weekends, and myself and a couple of AF buddies had rented a motel room somewhere above Boulder. I remember lying in bed when the room began to go black, and then the stars suddenly appearing, followed by a bright flash of light. At first I was panic stricken, and I don't remember if the others had seen the light, but I found out that my hair had suddenly grown over an inch in length.
When I got back to the barracks the next day, my roommate totally freaked out at the length of my hair. I was at a loss to explain other than tell him what had happened. He wasn't sure what to think of my story, but did realize their was glaring physical evidence. He soon moved into base housing with his wife, and only one of the buddies who were with me remained a friend. I don't remember if he also went through the same rigorous interogation as I did. I only remember that he went to Holloman AFB, while I went to McConnell AFB in Kansas. Many very strange occurred after that which finally ended my military career.
I still have trouble remembering many things, as it has always been very "foggy" since that time, but I still wonder how my hair could have grown from a half inch to nearly two inches overnight.
