# SPECIAL REPORT - No Longer Easy Prey

The Truth Embargo: How a Nation’s Elites Marginalized Millions to Chase God-Like Power

A Long Historical Telling – Face Value Approach Narrative AlienAlerts.com Special Report May 9, 2026

It began in the skies over war-torn Europe in late 1944.

Allied pilots flying night missions reported something impossible: glowing orbs and metallic objects that paced their bombers, formed formations, accelerated instantly, and vanished when pursued. They called them “Foo Fighters.” These were not enemy flares or secret weapons — the Germans were seeing them too and thought the Allies had invented them. The objects showed intelligence. They showed technology far beyond anything either side possessed. Aircrews logged the encounters. Intelligence officers filed reports. And then… nothing public happened.

The pattern was already forming: observe the anomaly, classify it, pursue any recoverable technology, and keep the public completely in the dark.

By the summer of 1947, the pattern hardened into official doctrine.

In July 1947, the Roswell Army Air Field issued a press release announcing it had captured a “flying disc.” Within hours the story was retracted and replaced with the now-infamous “weather balloon” explanation. That same month — literally days apart — President Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947. The Act created the Central Intelligence Agency, reorganized the military into the Department of Defense, established the National Security Council, and birthed the modern national-security state. Researcher and historian Richard Dolan has called this the beginning of the Truth Embargo — a deliberate, institutionalized policy of withholding the full reality of non-human intelligence (NHI) activity from the American people and the world.

From that moment forward, two parallel realities were born.

The In Group — a small, compartmentalized circle of military leaders, intelligence officers, aerospace contractors, and select politicians — gained access to crash-retrieval programs, exotic materials, and (in some accounts) biological remains. Their mandate was simple: reverse-engineer the technology at all costs. The technology represented power — propulsion, energy, materials science, and possibly more — that could decide the next world war, dominate rival nations, and give elites an overwhelming edge over their own populations.

The Outsiders Club — everyone else — was fed ridicule, denial, and the emerging “giggle factor.”

The giggle factor was not accidental. It was weaponized.

In 1953 the CIA-sponsored Robertson Panel reviewed the UFO problem and recommended a deliberate public-education campaign to strip the phenomenon of its “aura of mystery.” The goal was not truth — it was social control. Project Blue Book (and its predecessors Sign and Grudge) became a public-facing debunking operation while classified programs quietly chased the hardware. Witnesses who reported structured craft or close encounters were labeled cranks, mentally unstable, or attention-seekers. Pilots who spoke publicly lost careers. Military personnel were threatened with loss of security clearances or worse.

By the 1960s the abduction wave had begun in earnest. Betty and Barney Hill, the Pascagoula fishermen, the Allagash Four, the Tujunga Canyon women, and thousands of others described non-consensual medical procedures, genetic harvesting, telepathic communication, and hybrid programs. Researcher Ann Druffel documented case after case where ordinary people fought back using nothing more than willpower, righteous anger, or spiritual invocation — techniques governments never acknowledged, let alone supported. The In Group knew. The files existed. Yet the official position remained: “No threat to national security.”

The pattern was now crystal clear.

Elites across nations — U.S., Soviet Union, later China and others — treated the phenomenon as a strategic resource race. The same way colonial powers once raced for spices, oil, or nuclear secrets, 20th-century power brokers raced for non-human technology. Crashed craft were recovered. Reverse-engineering programs (S-4, alleged “black world” aerospace efforts) consumed black budgets. International competition intensified. And civilian experiencers — the living evidence of a deeper, more invasive phenomenon — were systematically marginalized so the public would never demand protection or answers.

This was not mere secrecy for “national security.” It was a calculated trade-off: allow the population to remain vulnerable (easy prey) in exchange for potential technological dominance over rivals and control over their own citizens. The giggle factor became the perfect enforcement mechanism — a cultural moat that kept serious researchers, journalists, and scientists away from the topic. Funding dried up. Careers ended. Public discourse turned into jokes about little green men.

Society paid a steep price.

Millions of experiencers lived in silent trauma. Families were torn apart by “missing time,” scars, and psychological after-effects that medicine refused to recognize. Public trust in institutions eroded quietly at first, then accelerated as leaks and whistleblowers (George Knapp’s sources, David Grusch, AAWSAP/AATIP insiders) revealed the two-track reality: private acknowledgment of real craft and biologics versus public ridicule. The In Group maintained power. The Outsiders Club was left to develop its own resistance techniques, its own support networks, its own truth-seeking platforms.

By the 2020s the embargo had begun to crack under its own weight. Near-parity on the technology side — the very goal pursued since 1947 — made total secrecy counterproductive. Congressional hearings, controlled file releases, and whistleblower protections appeared. Yet even in 2025–2026 the pattern held: incremental disclosures focused on “sightings” and “flight safety,” never on abductions, never on civilian harm, never on the decades of deliberate non-intervention.

The Truth Embargo did not end in 1947. It evolved.

It evolved into a system where elites could chase god-like capabilities — anti-gravity, directed energy, possibly consciousness-related technologies — while the rest of humanity remained psychologically and strategically disarmed. The giggle factor, once a crude tool of ridicule, became a sophisticated cultural operating system that kept the public divided, distracted, and doubting their own eyes and memories.

This is the long telling.

A pattern stretching from Foo Fighters in 1944 to the present day: observe the anomaly → classify it → weaponize the technology → marginalize the witnesses → maintain the divide between the In Group and the Outsiders Club.

The National Security Act of 1947 did not create the phenomenon. It created the machinery to manage it in secret for the benefit of the few.

And that is why independent, grassroots platforms like AlienAlerts.com had to be built — by citizens, for citizens. Because when governments choose technology over people, the people must choose sovereignty for themselves.

The embargo is cracking. The giggle factor is fading. The Outsiders Club is waking up.

The real question now is not whether the truth will emerge. It is whether we will finally build the defense, awareness, and sovereignty layer that governments never provided.

The pattern is clear. The choice is ours.
