The Honorable Pete Hegseth Secretary of War The Pentagon Washington, D.C. 20301
Subject: Support for the War.gov UAP Portal and Citizen Partnership in Awareness & Resilience
Dear Secretary Hegseth,
On behalf of AlienAlerts.com and the citizen intelligence network we serve, I want to personally commend you and the Department of War for placing a direct, prominent UFO/UAP link on war.gov. The launch of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) and the public availability of previously classified sensor data and testimony represent a historic and welcome step toward transparency. We applaud this clear signal that the Department is treating the UAP issue with the seriousness it deserves.
We fully support the Department’s efforts to achieve and maintain technological and warfighting parity with any potential adversary — human or non-human. National security and military readiness must remain paramount.
At the same time, we recognize that the civilian population has been left largely unprotected and uninformed during the long era of secrecy. AlienAlerts.com was created specifically to address this gap. We are stepping forward as an independent, grassroots platform to provide practical tools, reporting systems, and community resources that build public awareness and resiliency.
To support the broader mission, we have developed several citizen-side capabilities that may offer military utility as well:
- Our X-Filed reporting system automatically cross-references sightings with real-time aircraft, satellite, star, weather, and balloon data.
- We are actively developing an open Psychic Wave Monitor (PWM) science project that turns participating browsers into distributed RNG (Random Number Generator) nodes. Early testing suggests this low-cost, crowd-sourced sensor network may help detect anomalous movement or consciousness-related anomalies during UAP events.
- All aggregated, anonymized data can be exported in GeoJSON format upon request for any official analysis or integration needs.
We stand ready to support the Department of War in any way that advances both military objectives and civilian protection. Our platform is open-source in spirit, fully transparent, and built for partnership.
We would be deeply grateful if the Department would acknowledge the efforts of independent citizen platforms like AlienAlerts.com that are working in alignment with national goals of awareness and resilience.
Thank you for your leadership and for the progress already achieved under your tenure. We remain strong supporters of the military’s role and are eager to contribute to a unified, whole-of-society approach to this challenge.
Respectfully,
Kevin C Rea Founder AlienAlerts.com Arizona
